Kallista Karastamatis, MA, RPA

Principal Investigator, Cultural Resources

Kallista is an SOI-qualified Registered Professional Archaeologist and brings a strong background in bioarcheology, historical archaeology, and cultural resources management. She has extensive experience supporting and leading projects across Texas, the southeastern United States, and the Caribbean.

Her technical strengths include osteological analysis, cemetery documentation, project management, regulatory compliance, and the development of archaeological research designs and mitigation strategies. She is also deeply committed to ethical practice and meaningful collaboration with descendant communities.
