BGE, Inc. announced today that Alex Hulbert has been promoted to Director, Land/Site Development and office leader in the firm’s Tampa office.

Hulbert has 23 years of project management and civil design experience in land development, site design and municipal projects. He joined BGE in 2001. In his new role, Hulbert will oversee the continuing growth of BGE in the area.

“We have developed great relationships and experienced significant growth in the Tampa Bay Area under the leadership of James Kelley and Alex Hulbert,” said Randy Randermann, BGE Southeast region operations leader. “We are excited about our future in Tampa where we offer a full range of engineering, surveying and land development services.”

Services offered by BGE in the Tampa Bay Area include residential and commercial development, master-planned communities, industrial development, survey, planning and landscape architecture, public works and environmental services.

As a result of its rapid growth, Hulbert and the BGE team recently relocated to a new office, one that offers three times the space of its previous location. The new office is located at 5426 Bay Center Dr., Suite 100, Tampa, FL 33609.

Hulbert is a longtime resident (since 1987) of the Tampa Bay Area. He has an associate degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering from Liberty University. He is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce and the East Pasco Chamber Foundation. Outside of work, Hulbert enjoys woodworking, fly fishing, traveling, spending time with his family, and cooking. St. Augustine, FL is his favorite city due to the historic nature of the city.
