BGE, Inc. is proud to announce Shiann Hernandez, PE, and Laine Krysl, PE, as the 2023 BGE Dick Gay Core Value Award honorees.
The award is one of the company’s highest honors, and it is presented to BGE employees who embody the core values of the firm: integrity, commitment, respect and excellent reputation. These values shine through in their contributions to BGE throughout the year as well as their daily interactions with others.
Hernandez is a project manager in the Public Works department in Houston. She joined BGE in 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. Her peers highlight her terrific work ethic, her professionalism and the utmost respect, dignity and kindness with which she treats others as key attributes that make her a great coworker.
Krysl is an engineer in Land/Site Development. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University in 2017, she joined BGE’s Charlotte office. Her peers highlight her dedication to the company and its core values; her reliability, professionalism and ethics; and her efforts both in the company and in the community.
