BGE, Inc. today announced that Roberto “Robby” Garcia, PE, recently joined the firm as a senior project manager in the Transportation Systems department in the South Austin office.
Garcia has more than 20 years of experience in transportation engineering, including roadway design, toll projects, widenings, schematics and hydrology and hydraulics. His background includes nearly 10 years of project management experience and extensive work with TxDOT.
“Robby’s vast experience, especially with TxDOT, is going to be a great asset for the firm,” said Rob Harris, senior vice president and Central Texas Region operations leader. “He will have a significant impact on the various highway expansion projects we’re currently undertaking and expect to take on in the future.”
Garcia is a licensed engineer in Texas, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
