BGE Welcomes Travis Scott as Senior Water Resources Engineer

BGE, Inc. today announced that Travis B. Scott, PE, PG, CFM recently joined the firm as a senior water resources engineer, supporting the firm’s hydrology and hydraulics practice. He is located in BGE’s Fayetteville, AR office.

Scott brings nearly 30 years of experience in water resources, environmental and geotechnical engineering to his role at BGE. He previously served in both a technical and project management role for numerous water resources studies and various drainage-related engineering design and construction projects. His passion is working in service of the health, safety and welfare of the public, as well as developing future engineers.

Scott earned a bachelor of science in geological engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) and a master of science in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Arkansas, a registered professional geologist in Arkansas and a certified floodplain manager in Arkansas. He has served as an adjunct professor of geological engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology since 2018.
