BGE, Inc. announced that Susie Smith, SPHR, has joined the company as Managing Director of Human Resources. Susie will be leading the HR team across the corporate footprint, helping them to function as a collaborative, customer service-focused resource for all of BGE’s 1,000+ employees. She will be based out of the Houston, Texas office.
“We are excited to bring Susie on board to lead our human resources efforts at BGE,” said Lee Lennard, BGE President and CEO. “Her ‘always learning, always teaching’ approach will provide tremendous value in developing and supporting our expert practitioners and thought leaders throughout the company.”
Susie brings to BGE over 25 years of human resources experience across the finance and construction industries. She holds a bachelor of science in health degree from Texas A&M University, and she earned her MBA from the University of Houston.
Outside of work, Susie can be found spending time with her husband of 26 years, two kids (a Razorback and a fellow Aggie), two dogs, and a cat. She also considers herself a foodie (who grows her own tomatoes) and a connoisseur of wine and wheat beer.
