Congratulations to Nick Vann, RPLS, Partner and Managing Director of Land Surveying at BGE, on being honored with the prestigious “Young Surveyor of the Year” award by the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS).
Established in 1965, this award honors a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) or Licensed State Land Surveyor (LSLS) in Texas who has made significant contributions to the field and their community.
Nick has been a member of TSPS since 2011 and has held numerous leadership roles, both locally and at the state level. His contributions to the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) and the industry are highlighted by the following accomplishments:

Nick’s achievements are a testament to his unwavering dedication to advancing the surveying profession and his inspiring leadership within the field. His journey began after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences, and he has since devoted over a decade to land surveying. Since joining BGE in 2012 as a Project Surveyor, Nick’s passion and expertise have propelled him to his current role as Partner and Senior Director, where he continues to lead and influence the future of the profession.
