Big Fossil Creek Parallel Relief Sanitary Sewer Main

Client: City of Fort Worth
City: Fort Worth
State: Texas
Services: Environmental Services, Public Works, Technology Solutions

Phase II of a three-phase plan included the installation of 9,157 linear feet of 66-inch sanitary sewer line and the replacement of two existing meter stations. This phase provided relief and alleviated present and future concerns regarding the current sewer main by using a single parallel sanitary sewer pipeline.

The two existing meters that were replaced serve the Cities of Haltom City and North Richland Hills, Texas. The future meter stations will be relocated to give access to the City of Fort Worth personnel and provide additional security to the existing facilities.

USACE, DART, TxDOT, ONCOR, City of Haltom City, City of North Richland Hills, and City of Richland Hills were all involved in the coordination of this project. Funding for the construction phase was provided by the Texas Water Development Board.
