Overview

The Charlotte County Transit Facility project includes the construction of a new 5,885-square-foot building, complemented by a supporting parking lot, secured transit vehicle spaces, stormwater management areas, and utility infrastructure.

The three-acre property was formerly occupied by the Charlotte County Public Works Department and included a significant storage yard. To facilitate the new site improvements, existing buildings, structures, storage materials, and parking lots underwent necessary demolition and removal.

BGE provided crucial services, including site design, permitting, and construction phase services. Seamless coordination efforts were diligently executed with the architect, Charlotte County, our subconsultants, and relevant local and state reviewing agencies (Charlotte County permitting for preliminary and final site development, stormwater, and utility permitting, as well as Southwest Florida Water Management District permitting).
