Nate Toothaker, PLS, Joins BGE
Charlotte, NC – BGE, Inc. is thrilled to announce Nate Toothaker, PLS, will join our Surveying team as a Project Manager in our Charlotte office. With more than 15 years of experience in land surveying and geomatics, Nate brings a deep understanding of boundary law, title matters, and large-scale infrastructure development to our growing Surveying team.
Throughout his career, Nate has led diverse projects across the country, from utility-scale solar developments in North Carolina to boundary investigations in the remote terrain of Alaska. His professional journey includes leadership roles at Encompass Services, LLC, and most recently, founding and operating Sage Surveying & Mapping, PLLC, where he provided comprehensive surveying and mapping services with a focus on precision, collaboration, and client satisfaction.

Nate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in North Carolina. His technical expertise spans ALTA/NPS surveys, easement analysis, riparian rights, and title commitment review. He is also an active member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and the North Carolina Society of Surveyors (NCSS).
At BGE, Nate will play a key role in managing complex survey projects and enhancing our capabilities in both traditional and emerging markets.
