Overview

Constellation Field is located in the heart of historic Sugar Land, Texas, and is home to the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. This facility serves as a year-round venue for various events with a capacity of 7,500 to 9,500 spectators.

This $36 million facility was the result of an aggressive design-build effort to create a first-class ballpark. BGE provided value engineering and full civil design on this fast-paced, 13-month project. Close coordination with the City of Sugar Land and the contractor allowed BGE to offer cost-effective solutions related to utility design, site grading and paving construction. These solutions helped reduce the construction timeline.

BGE also provided a traffic operation plan for safe and efficient traffic ingress and egress operations at the stadium. BGE’s professional traffic engineers developed a plan that included minimizing impacts to the adjacent neighborhoods and non-event traffic.
