CENLA HUB CARBON SEQUESTRATION

With the potential of being one of the nation’s largest onshore underground storage centers, the CPS Central Louisiana (CENLA) Hub turned to BGE for guidance on its carbon neutralization strategies. Texas
CapEx Central Drainage Tunnels & Pump Station
BGE designed two large-diameter tunnels beneath IH 35 and East Cesar Chavez Street in downtown Austin to alleviate flooding. The tunnels will convey stormwater to a pump station and discharge it into the Colorado River. This project is part of the larger IH 35 expansion.

As the program manager for our client, BGE oversees groundwater reduction, water transmission, demand projections, conservation, and more.

Big Fossil Creek Parallel Relief Sanitary Sewer Main
Phase II of a three-phase plan involved installing a new 9,157-foot, 66-inch sanitary sewer line and replacing two outdated meter stations. This upgrade improved sewer capacity and accessibility, benefiting Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Fort Worth. The project was funded by the Texas Water Development Board and coordinated with multiple agencies.
