Blake Axen has 21 years of experience in the design, construction, maintenance, and operations of transportation systems. Blake’s diverse project portfolio includes project management and construction oversight of some of TxDOT’s highest profile design-build and design-bid-build projects. Named an ENR Texas and Louisiana Top 20 Young Professional Under 40 and recipient of the Pat Brown Leadership Award, Blake led the CEI team on the IH 35 Segment 4B reconstruction project in Waco, Tx. Despite its challenges, Blake the project successfully achieved completion 6 months ahead of schedule. Known for servant leadership, Blake has served as an appointee on the City of Mansfield Planning and Zoning Commission since 2019.
