Rodney R. Heisch, PE

Rodney R. Heisch brings more than 38 years of civil engineering experience to his role as Chief Corporate Officer (CCO). Most recently serving as BGE’s Houston Region Operations Leader, overseeing offices in Houston, Katy, and The Woodlands, Heisch has been a trusted leader across both operational and client-facing disciplines throughout his career at BGE.  

As the former Director of BGE’s Land Development department, his team provided services to more than 110 municipal utility districts and numerous Houston-area master-planned communities. Having worked on a variety of land, site, and public works projects throughout his career, he has a keen understanding of the challenges and expectations of both public and private-sector clients.  

Heisch also currently serves on the City of Houston Planning Commission, a 26-member board responsible for reviewing and approving subdivision and development plats, and the ACEC Houston Board of Directors.
