Eric Hampton, PE

Eric Hampton serves as BGE’s Southeast Region Operations Leader, overseeing strategic growth, operational excellence, and team development across the region. Since joining BGE in 2017, he has played a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint by helping establish offices in Charlotte, Jacksonville, Sarasota, Atlanta, Raleigh, Vero Beach, Phoenix, West Palm Beach and Tampa.

With more than 20 years of civil engineering and consulting experience, Eric brings deep expertise in land development and site design. His background includes land planning, stormwater drainage systems and best management practices, utilities, and permitting and coordination efforts. Throughout his career, he has served as project manager and technical lead on site planning and civil engineering projects across the southeastern United States.

A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, Eric remains actively engaged in the industry through his involvement with local and national organizations, including ACEC and ICSC. His leadership continues to support BGE’s expanding regional presence while advancing the firm’s commitment to serving clients, developing people, and strengthening communities.
