Roman Grijalva has over 28 years of engineering and leadership experience, where he leads the growth and strategic direction of BGE as the Managing Director of Public Works. He focuses on strengthening client relationships, expanding market presence, and cultivating high-performing teams aligned with the firm’s long-term vision.
A recognized leader in the Texas engineering community, his technical background spans major civil engineering initiatives, including large-diameter water tunnels, pump stations, riverfront boardwalks, corridor reconstruction, and Utility District management. His ability to bridge technical excellence with business strategy has made him a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.
As a BGE Board Member, Roman contributes to corporate strategic planning, organic growth initiatives, and efforts to enhance staff engagement across the organization. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and proactive, solutions-oriented approach, he brings a servant-leadership philosophy to developing future talent and supporting the evolving needs of BGE’s clients and communities.
