Mitchell McBrayer, PE, Joins BGE as Sr. Project Manager for our Environmental service
San Antonio, TX – We’re thrilled to welcome Mitchell McBrayer, PE, to our Environmental Services team as Sr. Project Manager in our San Antonio office. As a seasoned environmental engineer and regulatory specialist with over a decade of consulting experience, Mitchell brings a powerful combination of technical expertise and client-focused collaboration to our team.
Mitchel has built his career on a dynamic blend of air quality compliance, permitting, risk management, and sustainability. His work covers a broad array of industries, including oil and gas, power generation, and chemical manufacturing, where he led efforts in air dispersion modeling, tank emissions analysis, and federal and state permitting projects.
He most recently served as a Senior Consultant with Trinity Consultants, where he managed complex environmental projects throughout Texas, New Mexico, and the western U.S. Mitchell’s hands-on experience includes serving as an environmental coordinator for upstream assets, facilitating modeling and permitting for major facilities, and providing ongoing compliance support through plans, reports, and onsite coordination.
Mitchell is also known for his leadership on company initiatives, having spearheaded internal training programs and business development strategies for power and data center clients. His innovative work includes authoring and presenting on next-generation compliance for liquid storage vessels at national conferences such as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the American Petroleum Institute (API).
With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a coordinate major in Asian Studies from Tulane University, Mitchell applies a thoughtful and globally aware perspective to engineering challenges. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, paired with his ability to communicate effectively across teams and disciplines, makes him an outstanding addition to BGE’s growing roster of experts.
