BGE, Inc. is proud to announce its President and CEO Lee Lennard, PE, F.SAME will serve as the 2020-2021 Board Chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Texas.
“I’m honored to serve in this capacity alongside other engineering leaders from across the state. ACEC is the preeminent association for advocating and advancing a pro-business consulting engineering climate in Texas, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to add my name to the long list of respected engineers who have held this position before me,” said Lennard. “I’m looking forward to doing my part to move the industry forward at this critical time in history.”
Lennard has been a member of ACEC throughout his career and has served on the board of ACEC Texas since 2015. In addition, he held various leadership positions within the Houston chapter, including president in 2012-2013. He is a proud Texas A&M graduate, with more than 30 years of engineering experience. Lennard officially begins his term as ACEC Texas board chair on April 1, 2020, replacing outgoing board chair, Susan Turrieta, PE, of Smith Turrieta Engineering.
