Bob Morgan Joins BGE as Senior Project Manager

Today, BGE, Inc. announced that Bob Morgan, PE, PMP, recently joined the firm as a senior project manager in the Construction Management department in Houston.

Morgan brings over 20 years of technical acumen, organizational leadership and management to his role at BGE, where he is managing field operations for a Harris County Toll Road Authority project in Pasadena. Having served in the United States Army, he is experienced in assembling and leading teams, working in demanding environments and executing complex infrastructure projects, including transportation, signal, drainage, water line replacements, water plant refurbishments, as well as sewer and lift station projects.

“With his engineering experience coupled with his military background, Bob is proving to be a valued member of the team already,” said Rodney Heisch, BGE senior vice president and Houston area operations leader. “His communication, mentoring and critical thinking skills are all assets that will benefit our teams, projects and clients.”

Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a licensed engineer and a certified project management professional in Texas, and is TxDOT certified in roadway and bridge construction management and inspection. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the Army Engineer Association.
