Reinhardt Honored with Pat Brown Leadership Award

Brian Reinhardt, PE, was recently named the recipient of the second annual Pat Brown Leadership Award for BGE, Inc.

Reinhardt, a Senior Project Manager of BGE’s Transportation Systems Department in the North Texas region, was honored for his community work in Texas and abroad. Reinhardt has been with BGE for three years.

This award recognizes an employee who is nominated by their peers for exemplifying leadership outside of the office. It focuses on employees who give back to their community through volunteer efforts and leadership.

Among Reinhardt’s community service in Frisco, he is the president of the Board of Directors for Sci-Tech Discovery Center, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that engages and inspires learners of all ages and backgrounds to embrace discovery and innovation through the active exploration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). He is also the co-founder of Frisco Hoops, LLC, an organization that focuses on developing youth of all ages (K-10th grade) in the realm of youth basketball. Reinhardt volunteers his time to help build each child’s capabilities in the fundamentals of basketball.

Reinhardt is also heavily involved with his church, SoulThirst Church Texas. He and his family support the church’s mission work in Uganda through BigLoveUganda.org.

A graduate of San Diego State University, he makes his home in Frisco.
