Oak Stone

BGE is providing civil, environmental, survey, GIS, and landscape design services from the schematic design through construction for Oak Stone, a 641-acre resort-style master-planned community located in Desoto County, Florida. Oak Stone will feature a Crystal Lagoon by Metro Lagoons that will be open to residents and the public. Product type will vary, with single-family residential anchoring the project but rounded out with townhomes, carriage homes, villas, and condo buildings to provide a mix of lifestyle choices. Improvements include site layout, roadway improvements (including turn lanes along Kings Highway), sanitary sewer and force main design (including design of several lift stations), water system design, grading and drainage, erosion control, and permitting. The project is being developed in a Community Development District (CDD) and will follow the bidding and construction requirements of the CDD, the county, and state and federal agencies.
