BGE delivers top-notch healthcare services through facility design, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance with health standards, ensuring safe and efficient environments
Healthcare facilities don’t operate on a contractor’s schedule ā they operate on a community’s needs. That’s why healthcare developers and providers choose BGE: we know how to move fast without cutting corners, and we know the difference between a delay on paper and a delay that affects a patient.
Our civil engineers work alongside healthcare architects, owners’ representatives, and local jurisdictions from the earliest stages of site selection. We handle the complexity ā entitlements, traffic impact analysis, accessible parking design, grading, drainage, and utility coordination ā so that by the time a shovel hits the ground, the path to your certificate of occupancy is already clear.
Healthcare campuses are rarely built once. Expansion phases, outpatient facilities, emergency access improvements; BGE plans for what’s next, not just what’s now. Whether you’re breaking ground on a new medical campus or adding a MOB to an existing health system, we bring the foresight and regulatory fluency to keep your project moving.

Minimizing regulatory risks and environmental impact
With the potential of being one of the nationās largest onshore underground storage centers, the CPS Central Louisiana (CENLA) Hub turned to BGE for guidance on its carbon neutralization strategies. Early in development, the initiative has leaned heavily on BGE to reduce impact on water, culture, and species.

Phase II of a three-phase plan involved installing a new 9,157-foot, 66-inch sanitary sewer line and replacing two outdated meter stations. This upgrade improved sewer capacity and accessibility, benefiting Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Fort Worth. The project was funded by the Texas Water Development Board and coordinated with multiple agencies.
