As BGE continues to grow its Energy Services practice, we are excited to welcome Fabian Pineda, PE, as Senior Project Manager and Rebecca Morrison, PE, as Project Engineer. Together, they bring a powerful combination of leadership, technical expertise, and innovative thinking that will strengthen BGE’s ability to deliver complex energy and infrastructure solutions for our clients.
Fabian Pineda joins BGE with more than 20 years of experience leading the planning, design, and integration of energy and critical infrastructure systems. His background spans power generation, transmission, battery energy storage systems (BESS), distributed energy resources (DER), microgrids, and electrical infrastructure planning. Throughout his career, Fabian has managed large multidisciplinary projects from concept development through commissioning, including the integration of a 1 MW Battery Energy Storage System and major electrical infrastructure expansion programs supporting systems of up to 100 MW.
Prior to joining BGE, Fabian held leadership positions with Altus Dexter, Zentech Inc., and Chevron, where he directed engineering teams, managed multimillion-dollar capital programs, and developed innovative strategies to improve system resilience and performance. His expertise in system integration, power system modeling, and project execution will help position BGE to meet the evolving needs of clients across the energy sector.
Fabian earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Minnesota, Rhoad Island, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, and a Senior Member of IEEE. His broad professional licensure and technical expertise further strengthen BGE’s ability to support clients across multiple markets and jurisdictions.
Joining Fabian is Rebecca Morrison, PE, whose growing expertise in power systems engineering and energy infrastructure adds depth to BGE’s expanding Energy Services team. Rebecca currently serves as a Project Manager and recently earned her Professional Engineer license in Texas and Florida.
Prior to BGE, Rebecca worked as a Project Engineer with Cobb, Fendley & Associates, where she contributed to utility and infrastructure projects. Earlier in her career, she gained hands-on experience designing transmission systems and supporting energy-related projects through engineering internships, building a strong technical foundation in electrical and power systems engineering.
The addition of Fabian and Rebecca reflects BGE’s continued investment in building a team capable of delivering innovative, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. Fabian’s extensive leadership and strategic project delivery experience, combined with Rebecca’s technical expertise and emerging leadership, will enhance our ability to serve utilities, developers, municipalities, and industrial clients across a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
