(Atlanta, GA) – We’re excited to welcome Aaron Studdard, PLS, to BGE as our new Director of Survey.
Aaron joins BGE with extensive experience leading surveying operations and delivering land surveying solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As Director of Survey, he will help strengthen our surveying capabilities, support continued growth across the Southeast, and lead teams focused on delivering high-quality results for our clients.
A Registered Land Surveyor in both Georgia and South Carolina, Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business from Mississippi State University, with a concentration in Surveying and Geomatics. He is also an active member of the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG) and is committed to advancing the profession through leadership, innovation, and industry engagement.
His project portfolio includes several landmark developments throughout the Southeast. Aaron played a key leadership role in surveying services for the Hyundai battery manufacturing campus in Georgia, providing support for a variety of construction and monitoring activities across a large-scale industrial site. He has also managed multiple 1,000-plus-acre ALTA/NSPS survey and supported the development of residential communities exceeding 800 lots, demonstrating his ability to successfully deliver projects of significant scale and complexity.
Most recently, Aaron served as Survey Director at HRC Engineers, where he successfully transformed and modernized the survey department. Throughout his career, Aaron has demonstrated a passion for building strong teams and developing future leaders.
As we continue expanding our surveying services and capabilities, his leadership will play an important role in advancing our team and supporting the success of our clients.
