BGE, Inc. announced today that the firm has named Colby Harris, PE as Director of Construction Management in the Central Texas region. In his new role, he’ll oversee the region’s public and private side teams, which provide construction engineering, inspection and oversight for all Construction Management projects in the region.
Harris has over 10 years of experience in construction management, inspection and transportation design. He joined BGE in 2013 as an EIT in the Transportation department. Upon receiving his engineering license, he joined the private-side Construction Management group, growing and overseeing the successful construction of various land development projects in Central Texas. In his expanded role, Harris will lead and grow the combined efforts of the private and public Construction Management staff.
A licensed professional engineer in Texas, Harris received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.
