Jacksonville, FL – We’re pleased to welcome Donny Podany, RLA, to BGE as a Senior Landscape Architect.
Donny has more than 30 years of experience in landscape architecture, master planning, and site design, with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering successful projects from concept through construction. His extensive experience includes project management, client relations, and community engagement across a diverse range of residential, recreational, and mixed-use developments.
Prior to joining BGE, Donny served as a Senior Associate Landscape Architect with elm-Ervin Lovett & Miller, where he played a key role in award-winning master-planned communities and amenity developments throughout Florida. Most recently, he contributed to the 2026 NAHB Gold Award-winning Carnes Crossroads community and was recognized as a key contributor to the ASLA Award of Merit-winning Heritage Landing project in World Golf Village.
Throughout his career, Donny has helped shape notable projects such as Julington Creek Aquatics Center and Community Park, Amelia National, Tamaya, TrailMark, Tributary, Camp Immokalee, and Durbin YMCA. His expertise spans master planning, landscape architecture, construction administration, visioning, and stakeholder engagement.
Donny is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He recently completed the ULI Center for Leadership Program through the North Florida chapter, further strengthening his commitment to leadership and professional development within the industry.
With his depth of experience, collaborative approach, and passion for creating vibrant, sustainable communities, Donny will be a tremendous asset to our landscape architecture team and clients.
