BGE, Inc. announces the recent addition of Steve Precourt, PE as a senior consultant in Florida. In this role, he will help position the firm within the transportation sector and expand BGE’s resources and capabilities throughout the state.
Precourt has successfully built engineering consulting firms, developed real estate projects and managed infrastructure systems over several decades. He also served as a Florida State Representative for seven years, where he was the Republican Majority Leader from 2012-2013.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Steve as part of the BGE team,” said Southeast Region Operations Leader Randy Randermann. “He has already been instrumental in helping us enter the transportation market in Florida. I look forward to expanding our transportation practice throughout the Southeast through Steve’s impact.”
BGE is prequalified in several Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) categories, including Group 2: Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Studies; Group 3: Highway Design – Roadway (3.1, 3.2, 3.3); Group 6: Traffic Engineering and Operations Studies (6.1, 6.2); Group 7: Traffic Operations Design (7.1, 7.2, 7.3); and Group 13: Planning (13.4, 13.5, 13.6).
A licensed professional engineer in Florida, Precourt received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
