(Frisco, TX) – BGE, Inc. is pleased to announce that Stanie Zhang has joined the firm as a Landscape Designer, bringing a thoughtful, research-driven approach to shaping public and private environments across Texas.
Holding a Master’s of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture along with a degree in Communications from the University of Washington, her academic and professional background reflects a strong commitment to understanding how people interact with the natural world — a perspective that informs her design work and strengthens her ability to create meaningful, resilient spaces.
Before joining BGE, Stanie contributed to a wide range of projects at Studio Outside in Dallas, including public spaces, parks, mixed-use developments, and master-planned communities. Her experience spans site analysis, environmental mapping, concept development, 3D visualization, and construction documentation. Notable project contributions include the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Vitruvian Park, Samuel Farm, and the Kline Galland Home Unfold Garden.
Stanie’s design philosophy emphasizes ecological health, regional identity, and user experience. She is particularly passionate about integrating native plant communities and creating landscapes that balance environmental performance with everyday functionality.
In her role at BGE, Stanie will support landscape architecture efforts across multiple markets, contributing to the design and delivery of spaces that enrich communities and reflect BGE’s commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design.
