BGE, Inc. announced today that Ali MacLeod, PhD, has joined the firm’s Houston office as director of the Environmental Services department.
MacLeod has more than 26 years of building and leading teams for environmental assessment and remediation projects. Her expertise includes client advocacy, client management, stakeholder engagement, strategic funding and planning, and regulatory strategy and negotiation.
In her new role with BGE, MacLeod will lead the effort to continue building the environmental services area of BGE’s business, including air quality, remediation, sustainability, and carbon capture and sequestration.
“We are thrilled that Ali has joined BGE,” said Rodney Heisch, Houston region operations leader. “Her vast experience and longtime capability to build relationships will serve us well as we continue growing our environmental services business.”
MacLeod has a PhD in Environmental Hydrogeochemistry from University College London. She also has a Master of Science degree in Hydrogeology from University College London and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Applied Geology from Glasgow University. She is an active member of the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Economic Alliance. Outside of work, MacLeod loves the outdoors and is an avid gardener and hiker.
