BGE, Inc. today announced that Andy Wang, PE, recently joined the firm as a senior project manager in the Public Works department in the Houston office.
Wang brings 30 years of experience to his role at BGE. He began his professional career in China as a structural engineer. Upon moving to Houston, he found his niche as a drainage engineer, performing hydrologic and hydraulic engineering studies and analyses for a wide range of projects.
“We’re thrilled to have Andy on the BGE team,” said Rodney Heisch, BGE Houston region operations leader. “His extensive drainage experience across different infrastructure projects will truly benefit our clients.”
Wang earned a Master of Science in civil and structural engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in structural engineering from Tongji University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and is pre-certified in 11 TxDOT work categories. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, often jogging and visiting national and state parks.
