Vero Beach, Florida – BGE announced today the expansion of its presence in Florida to the Vero Beach area.
The company entered the Florida market in 2017 led by Mike Bell, PE, vice president, with an office in Sarasota. Earlier this year, the company added an office in Tampa and began offering environmental services for the state.
“We’re thrilled about our current and future growth in the Florida market and our ability to serve clients across the state,” Bell said. “Initially our focus is to provide services to our private development clients, primarily in land and site development. Jim Vitter, PE, will be our Land Development Manager in Vero Beach.”
Vitter has more than 20 years of experience as a civil engineering consultant, with a focus on large- and small-scale private development across Florida and the Southeastern U.S. He has a broad base of experience with site planning, engineering design, and permitting.
He earned his bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Florida. In addition to a license in professional engineering, Vitter is a Department of Environmental Protection Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector and a member of the America Society of Civil Engineers.
