BGE, Inc. announced that Mike Garrison, PE, has been named North Texas Operations Leader, overseeing the firm’s North Texas offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco and Waco, and two offices in Arkansas – Fayetteville and Jacksonville. In this role, he will focus on operations and growth within the region, as well as key strategic initiatives within the company.

Garrison brings more than 30 years of professional experience in infrastructure, planning, design and construction to the role. He has earned a reputation for building stakeholder consensus on complex projects such as the Grayson County Tollway Study, a 33-mile extension of the Dallas North Tollway to the Texas/Oklahoma state line, and the 17-mile reconstruction of IH 30 through Rockwall County.

“We are excited that Mike will continue BGE’s industry-leading position as the go-to consultant for our clients,” said Lee Lennard, BGE President and CEO. “Mike’s collaborative leadership style and strategic thinking will maximize growth opportunities in the markets we serve.”

Garrison assumes the role from Doug Dillon, PE, who will retire at the end of 2023 after more than 16 years with the firm. Until then, Dillon will continue as Executive Vice President, working closely with Garrison to ensure a smooth transition.

Garrison has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. He is a past board member of the American Council of Engineering Companies and has a graduate finance certificate from SMU. Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.
