Frank Simoneaux, Jr., PE, Joins BGE as Director of Public Works

BGE, Inc. today announced that Frank O. Simoneaux, Jr., PE. has joined the firm as Director of Public Works. He will be a vital member of the Houston Public Works Department senior leadership team.

Frank brings over 26 years of experience in municipal services. Prior to joining BGE, he served as Director of Public Works and Engineer (PWE) for the City of Baytown, from where he retired after 8 years of service.

In his role with the City of Baytown, he led a group of 263 public works and engineering professionals delivering water, wastewater, streets, drainage, traffic, solid waste, fleet, facility maintenance, and development engineering services, as well as capital projects.

His previous engineering experience includes time with the City of Houston, the City of College Station, and consulting firms. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve and has completed three combat tours supporting the Global War on Terror.

Frank holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.

He enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
