BGE, Inc. today announced that Gerald Waltman, PE, has joined the BGE Construction Management team in North Texas as a Senior Project Manager. He will be based out of the Frisco, Texas office.
In his capacity, Gerald will play a key role in supporting public sector clients, overseeing the management of large-scale transportation infrastructure construction projects through Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) contracts.
A seasoned veteran in his field, Gerald brings 22 years of experience as a bridge and highway contractor, 9 years of construction management experience, and 10 years with TxDOT in his previous position as Assistant Area Engineer in TxDOT’s Collin County Area Office. Some of his notable achievements and projects include serving as the Structure Superintendent for the Interchange of US 75 and SH190 (PGBT) in Plano, leading as the Project Manager for the CE&I team on the extension of the Dallas North Tollway into Frisco, and successfully overseeing the CE&I team on the Interchange of SH 121 (Sam Rayburn Tollway) and US 75 in McKinney.

Gerald and his wife, Trisha, are now enjoying an empty nest, but they cherish the opportunity to spend quality time with their five grandchildren. Gerald’s enthusiasm for running is undeniable: he has an impressive track record of successfully finishing over 40 marathons.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
