BGE, Inc. announced today that Jennifer Obar has joined the firm in its Houston office as director of marketing.
Obar has more than 16 years of experience developing and managing marketing and communications campaigns.
In her new role with BGE, Obar joins the department leadership team and will lead the company’s external marketing efforts, including collateral, events and conferences.
“We are excited that Jennifer has joined BGE, as her extensive background will bring added expertise to the department,” said Susan Scott, APR, managing director of BGE’s Marketing department. “As a department, we are committed to positioning BGE for continued growth and Jennifer’s leadership will help us continue to tell that story.”
Obar received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a minor in accounting, from New Mexico State University. Outside of work, she enjoys writing and is currently writing a novel with her sister. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
