A group of BGE employees helped build a Dallas family’s “dream home” recently. The project, sponsored by the Texas section of ASCE, is a one-story, three-bedroom, two-bath home with attached garage. The BGE team worked on hurricane clips for the house’s trusses and added siding to the structure. The green building features incorporated into the home are expected to qualify it for LEED Gold certification.
