BGE, Inc. announced today that it is expanding into a new market, Phoenix, AZ. James Kelley, PE, is leading the firm’s efforts into Metro Phoenix as BGE follows one of its major clients into the Valley of the Sun.
In the Metro Phoenix market, BGE will offer civil engineering services for land development projects including residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. BGE also will support projects involving structural engineering, environmental services, traffic studies, GIS (Geographic Information System) and planning + landscape architecture.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to serve clients in the Metro Phoenix market,” said BGE Senior Vice President Randy Randermann. “James’ vast experience and our relationship-focused foundation will serve clients well in the Phoenix Area where we will offer a full range of engineering and land development services.”
Kelley is office leader and Director of Land/Site Development in the Phoenix market. He has 25 years of land development experience in a wide variety of civil engineering projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, parks, water resources, stormwater management, utility improvements, roadway, and infrastructure design. He joined BGE in 2021. In this new market, Kelley will oversee the continuing growth of BGE as it develops roots in the Phoenix Area.
Kelley holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from New Mexico State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in nine states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Nevada and New Mexico. Outside of work, Kelley enjoys soccer, outdoor activities, do-it-yourself home improvement projects, art and photography.
