BGE, Inc. announced today that Michael Beckelman has joined the firm as its Chief Legal Officer. This position was recently created as a result of the firm’s steady growth and expansion throughout the Southeastern U.S. In this position, Beckelman will provide strategic guidance to the Board and operational leadership on all legal matters.
Known for his proactive negotiating skills, Beckelman has successfully defended architects, engineers, contractors and owners across Texas. Prior to joining BGE, he spent nearly 20 years at Wilson Elser, where he most recently served as the regional chair of the Complex Tort and General Casualty practice and co-chair of the Design Professional practice.
BGE President and CEO Lee Lennard says the organization is fortunate to have Beckelman on the team. “Having worked with Michael over the last decade, we are excited to have him as part of the team,” he said. “As a member of our senior leadership team, we look to him to safeguard BGE’s interests as we continue to achieve our growth objectives.”
