BGE, Inc. announced today that Jim Sullivan, PSM, has joined the firm as director of surveying.
Sullivan has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of land surveying, including land development, boundary and right-of-way, and topographic, as well as FDOT and public works projects. He returns to BGE where he worked from 2004 to 2011 as a project manager in the firm’s Houston office.
In his new role with BGE, Sullivan expands the firm’s surveying practice to Florida.
“As we continue to grow, we’re also expanding our service offerings throughout the region,” said Randy Randermann, Southeast region operations leader. “We welcome Jim back to the BGE team. His years of professional surveying and project management experience will support new and existing clients in Florida.”
Sullivan received a Bachelor of Science degree in surveying and mapping from East Tennessee State University. He is registered as a professional surveyor and mapper in Florida, where he serves as vice president of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society. Sullivan also is registered as a professional surveyor in Texas, Louisiana, Ohio and North Carolina. He holds a Technical Engineer Specialist certification from the U.S. Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Outside of work, Sullivan enjoys spending time with his family and attending cultural, recreational and a variety of sporting events.
