BGE announced today that Brian Grace, PE, has been promoted to lead the newly-created Central Texas Site Development Department.
In his new role, Grace, who joined BGE in 2015, will lead the planning, management, mentorship and daily activities of the new Central Texas Site Development department. Due to its rapid growth and scale, the Site Department now will be a standalone department in the Central Texas region.
“We’re excited that Brian will lead this new Site Department in Central Texas,” said Wes Jasek, BGE Central Texas Operations leader. “Brian’s Site practice has been part of the Land/Site Department since its inception. With the rapid growth, the scale of the operation, and varied and unique clientele, we are making the distinction between our Land practice and Site practice in Central Texas.”
Grace has over 12 years of project management and engineering design experience in land and site development. In his career, he has executed a variety of project types including mixed-use, multifamily, industrial, office, build-to-rent and single-family. His experience includes working with clients, multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, government employees, and elected officials to reach effective solutions that save clients time and money.
Grace earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is a licensed engineer in the state of Texas. He is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional. Outside of work, Grace enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, golfing, sampling taco establishments throughout Austin and traveling to new places.
