Loop 410 Elevated Storage Tank

BGE designed a 1.5 million-gallon composite elevated storage tank, including site evaluation, pipeline routing, mechanical/electrical systems, and demolition of the existing steel tank.

Overview

This project consisted of the design of a 1.5 million gallon composite elevated storage tank. BGE performed tank site evaluation, pipeline route evaluation, tank site plan development and drainage, mechanical and electrical, and instrumentation design. 

The project also included approximately 164 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron water line to connect the new elevated storage tank to the existing SAWS water distribution system, intruder resistant fence and all-weather access road, various valves, fitting and related appurtenances, the demolition design of the Loma Linda 1.0 mg steel EST and site SCADA/communications antenna design.
