14-Mile 138kV Transmission Line Rebuild
BGE delivered surveying, SUE, and right-of-way services for a 14-mile 138kV transmission line rebuild in the Texas Permian Basin, replacing 120 single-circuit structures with double-circuit steel monopoles to improve regional power reliability and capacity.

CPS CENLA Hub — Central Louisiana Carbon Storage Hub
BGE is partnering with CapturePoint, LLC, to advance an underground CO₂ storage field in Louisiana by providing essential environmental services, including wetland and waterbody delineations, protected species assessments, permitting strategy development, and construction-phase inspections.

Collin Co. Outer Loop Segment 3C
BGE led the planning, schematic design, environmental coordination, and final design for Collin County’s 8-mile Outer Loop Segment 3C, a new-location controlled-access corridor from Custer Road to U.S. 75.

The Grand Parkway
BGE has worked with the Grand Parkway Association, Harris County Toll Road Authority, TxDOT and Design-Build Contractor Zachry Odebrecht on more than half of the existing project (Segments C, D, E, F-1, F-2, and G). CapEx Central Drainage Tunnels & Pump Station
BGE designed two large-diameter tunnels beneath IH 35 and East Cesar Chavez Street in downtown Austin to alleviate flooding. The tunnels will convey stormwater to a pump station and discharge it into the Colorado River. This project is part of the larger IH 35 expansion.

Shopton Ridge East (Hunter Farm)
BGE helped develop a 105-acre industrial site. BGE maximized buildable areas, designed buildings and parking, and coordinated utility location verification to ensure accurate construction.

Lake Lavon/FM 3286 Reconstruction
BGE helped reconstruct and widen FM 3286 in Collin County, Texas. A key challenge was surveying bridges over Lavon Lake. BGE used innovative lidar techniques to accurately capture bridge data without disrupting traffic, enabling the creation of precise 3D models for the design process.

South Montgomery County Mobility Plan
BGE conducted a mobility study for South Montgomery County to assess current transportation conditions and plan for future growth. Our analysis identified traffic bottlenecks, evaluated roadway infrastructure, and developed recommendations for improvements, including roadway upgrades, traffic signal optimization, and pedestrian/bicycle facility enhancements.

Slaughter Lane
BGE provided engineering services for the Slaughter Lane Corridor Mobility Plan in south Austin. Our team proposed improvements to enhance traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and bicycle mobility. These improvements included traffic signal upgrades, sidewalk construction, bike lane additions, and transit facility enhancements.

Grayson County Tollway
BGE led a feasibility study for the proposed Grayson County Tollway, a 33-mile high-speed corridor in Texas. The project aims to improve regional connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion. BGE’s team analyzed potential alignments, considered environmental impacts, and engaged with stakeholders to identify the most feasible route.
