A 3,600-acre master-planned community, Elyson earned the 2017 ACEC Texas Silver Medal in Water Resources β Storm Water Management Category.

Phase II of a three-phase plan involved installing a new 9,157-foot, 66-inch sanitary sewer line and replacing two outdated meter stations. This upgrade improved sewer capacity and accessibility, benefiting Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Fort Worth. The project was funded by the Texas Water Development Board and coordinated with multiple agencies.

BGE’s engineering expertise has been instrumental in identifying and implementing potential quiet zone solutions for 12 at-grade railroad crossings, improving the quality of life for nearby communities while maintaining safety standards.

To facilitate flow and eliminate head-on collisions, this four-lane boulevard exclusively features roundabouts at nine intersections.

BGE assessed over 3,000 groundwater assets in Houston, prioritizing critical infrastructure for replacement and maintenance to ensure reliable water supply over the next 20 years.
